Goldmyer Hot Springs
Goldmyer Hot Springs is a wildlife gem owned and managed by the Northwest Wilderness Programs. It is a non-profit organization that protects natural resources for the use of future generations.
The location is quite hidden in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, about 25 miles east of North Bend, WA. The facilities provided are very limited, not even a cellular or internet connection is available.
This natural hot spring includes three hot pools as well as a cold pool, clothing is optional. The temperature of the water at the source is around 122ºF and cools as it flows through the pond.
To get there you have to hike 4.5 miles from the trailhead to the 20-acre nature reserve. Access is over rugged terrain, and the trails are often snow-covered in winter, so snowshoes are definitely necessary.

Olympic Hot Springs

Scenic Hot Springs is the best and unique hot spring in Washington, featuring 3 steam baths overlooking a vast snowy forest. You can soak while enjoying views of the vast snowy forest at Ponderosa Pines with the Cascade Mountains towering in the distance.

The resort only has 3 separate tubs at different temperatures. And only 10 people are allowed to visit this hot spring at the same time.
Clothing is optional here, always respect the privacy of other visitors during your visit. There is also a small outhouse available for visitors.
To reach the location you have to climb for 1.5 – 2 hours up the mountain. This hike will require snowshoes, so prepare yourself well in advance.

Baker Hot Springs
Baker Hot Springs is a very popular hot spring in Washington state. This is a free natural hot springs walled in stone and primitive wood in the Mount Baker Snoqualmie National Forest.
These natural hot springs are another popular option where you can swim during the colder months. It may not be Washington’s most beautiful hot spring, but its warm and refreshing waters make Baker’s draw visitors.
Baker Hot Springs has two natural geothermal pools in the wilderness. And each thermal pool can only accommodate no more than five people.
The hot springs at Baker Hot Springs, at times, have a strong sulfur odor and attract people to swim. The clothes here are optional, pet friendly but you should always keep an eye on them.
To get to the location of Baker hot springs you have to drive about an hour from Bellingham, Washington. It’s about 65 miles before you find the hiking trail.
From Baker Hot Springs Trailhead you need to hike a half mile way out and back. The hiking trails are easily accessible to hikers of all comfort levels and have great natural views.

Sulphur Creek
Sulfur Creek is another of the most remote hot springs in Washington state. While this is the least popular of all, it is a fun option for those of you looking for privacy.
A trip to Sulfur Creek Hot Springs is the perfect adventure for anyone who loves the great outdoors. The hiking trail has amazing views, every visitor will get an unforgettable beautiful memory.
It is a simple intimate getaway and that is also what makes it special. Since this is not a public hot spring or resort, don’t worry about crowds, few people visit here.
This hot spring has only a few small tubs for soaking, it can fit only about 2 adults. The water temperature is around 90 degrees F and will have a strong sulfur smell, very comfortable to refresh the body.
Once you arrive, you may or may not find water in the hot springs. It will take about 20 minutes to fill the water bath to full again.
To reach this hot spring location, drive to the Sulfur Creek Campground area in Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. Then take the 3.7-mile hike across some steep rocky hills and wooden bridges.
